This October, Sydney Dance Company will be joining eight of Australia’s leading dance companies at Arts Centre Melbourne for DanceX: Festival of Dance.

Curated by our friends at The Australian Ballet, this three-part festival will showcase the depth, range and diversity of our nation’s dance community.

Sydney Dance Company is thrilled to be performing an excerpt of Rafael Bonachela’s ab [intra] as part of DanceX: Festival of Dance.

ab [intra], meaning ‘from within’ in Latin is “an exploration of our primal instincts, our impulses and our visceral responses” (Rafael Bonachela). From tenderness to turmoil, ab [intra] is a journey through the intensity of human existence that will command your attention.

★★★★ “Bold… impressive athleticism and energy… has to be seen to be believed.” The Sydney Morning Herald
