Sydney Dance Company’s Frame of Mind and new works by Omer Backley-Astrachan, James Batchelor, Gabrielle Nankivell and James Vu Anh Pham.

The Pre-Professional Year program is a full-time dance intensive, offered by Sydney Dance Company that provides aspiring professional dancers a unique training experience in a professional environment. The dancers who make up the Pre-Professional Year ensemble join us from regional and metropolitan Australia and New Zealand.

WHAT WE’RE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE AT CARRIAGEWORKS

If you feel unwell
Please do not visit if have experienced cold or flu-like symptoms in the past 14-days, are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, or have returned from overseas or a hotspot area. Stay home and take care.

Wear a mask
Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times when visiting Carriageworks.

Register at entry
Check-In upon entry using the Service NSW App.
Verify your COVID-19 vaccination status or medical exemption before entering.

Good hand hygiene
Please use hand sanitiser provided at entry and throughout the site.

Physical distancing
Please practise physical distancing at all times. Avoid congregating in public areas, queue wherever indicated and always follow instructions from staff.

Attending a performance
On arrival, download your eTicket and have it ready on your mobile phone for scanning. If you do not have access to email, the box office team will assist you, but please keep interactions to a minimum. The box office will open 30-minutes before each event.

Follow staff guidance and head straight to your designated seat. You must sit in the seat assigned on your ticket. Patrons will not be permitted to change seats, as this will impact other audience members.

Cloak room open
The cloak room will be open during regular opening hours with strictly limited capacity.

Cashless payments only
Please bring a credit or debit card for any onsite purchases, as we accept cashless payments only.

Travelling to Carriageworks
We encourage travelling outside of peak hours.

Accessibility
We are committed to making Carriageworks accessible to all patrons. If you have any access requirements or questions, please contact us ahead of your visit. Further details can be found here.

Enhanced daily cleaning
We have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures across the precinct. This includes regular cleaning of high-touch surfaces throughout the day. Please be mindful of high traffic areas and keep touching to a minimum.
