Biography

German-born Greek stylist, photographer and fashion designer Tassos Sofroniou started his successful career in fashion while still in high school. He later relocated to London, where he collaborated with the late British stylist Isabella Blow; designers Alexander McQueen, Julien McDonald, Hussein Chalayan and Jeremy Scott; publications such as Visionaire, Vogue USA, Vogue U.K. British GQ, Scene, Exit, Interview and Sunday Styles of The New York Times; and photographers such as David La Chapelle, Jeremy Scott, Mariano Vivanco and Richard Bush.

Tassos has extensive creative and branding experience in menswear, specialising in developing full range apparel and accessory collections. In September 2010 he launched his menswear label Conquistador.

In 2014 Tassos designed the costumes for Andonis Foniadakis’ work, which made its debut in Sydney Dance Company’s Louder Than Words season at Sydney Theatre.
