Opportunity: Share the stage with Sydney Dance Company for New Breed

published

7 November 2016

Now’s your chance, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for members of the general public to share the stage with Sydney Dance Company!

Love dance but perhaps you have two left feet? No worries, you are exactly who we’re looking for. Become part of an exciting new production being performed 29 Nov – 10 Dec at Carriageworks.

Could this be you?

Volunteers are required for a new work Epic Theatre by choreographer Shian Law for this year’s New Breed season.

Volunteers will perform their own identities as ‘people’. They will be standing, walking or sitting in simple arrangements, while sharing center stage with Sydney Dance Company.

This is not a call out for professional dancers. We are looking for a diverse range of people; all ages (18+), shapes and sizes.

Volunteers will be required for rehearsals on Sunday November 27 during the day and Monday November 28 during the evening and perform in a minimum of 3 performances between Tuesday November 29 and Saturday December 10.

Don’t miss out on this exciting and rare opportunity to share the stage with the extraordinary dancers of Sydney Dance Company.

Expressions of interest must be received by close of business Friday 18 November.
