GALLERY: DancED ‘2 One Another’ Regional Workshops in QLD

This month we are paying a special visit to five towns across Queensland, offering 250 students at seven regional schools the chance to take part in a fully subsidised world-class contemporary dance experience, as part of our DancED program.

From Cairns to Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton and the Gold Coast, Sydney Dance Company will be presenting free in-school workshops – taking Year 7 to 12 students through a contemporary dance warm up class, before teaching them some of the choreography and composition tasks that were used in the making of Sydney Dance Company’s multi-award winning production, 2 One Another.

Students who participate in the subsidised workshops have also been offered complimentary tickets to attend a performance of 2 One Another when Sydney Dance Company visits their town in July.
