Jez Smith is one of Australia’s leading  fashion photographers. Born in the UK, he  worked as a photographer in NYC, Sydney and  then London before returning to Sydney in 2006.

Jez’s lighting techniques and highly sophisticated style has established him as a high profile editorial and advertising photographer for all of the major publications, including Harpers Bazaar, Grazia, UK Grazia, Arena (UK), Surface (US), Wish, Vogue, along with independent publications Cream, Karen and Oyster.

He is also one of the busiest advertising photographers shooting campaigns for Bonds, Aero, Tigerlily, Berlei, Playtex, Westfield, David Jones, Levi’s, Georg Jenson, and Virgin Atlantic to name a few.

He has also worked closely with many Australian designers, including Collette Dinnigan, Alex Perry, and Carla Zampatti

Jez has also been engaged to shoot projects for Sydney Dance Company, the Brandenburg Orchestra, the Australian Ballet, and Sydney Theatre Company. His involvement in these projects involves his creative direction and design as well as executing the actual shoots.
