MORE INFO

Secondary students will be enlightened to the process Sydney Dance Company professional dancers undertake to create a brand new work based on stimuli and creative tasks set by Artistic Director, Rafael Bonachela or a commissioned choreographer.

In a specially designed and extended matinee program, students experience talks and demonstrations from the artistic team about the creative process and how a production moves from the rehearsal studio to the stage.

Each secondary school matinee is accompanied by a free curriculum relevant resource pack with in-depth contextual information about the production and addressing the areas of dance performance, composition and apprecation.
