The 2025 program is an adventurous experience, where the year’s vision and collaborations set the journey for audiences that will live on through touring and programming, defining the future of contemporary dance.

Continuum, challenges the domain of the ordinary. A triple bill that sweeps the emotional range of some of Australia’s trailblazing choreographic voices. Opening in Sydney in October, it features a new commission, Unungkati Yantatja – one with the other, by renowned choreographer Stephen Page AO in collaboration with leading Yidaki player and composer William Barton; a world premiere by Rafael Bonachela; and Somewhere between ten and fourteen, a standout piece by Keir Choreographic Award recipient Tra Mi Dinh.
Championing the future of dance, New Breed returns for its twelfth year at Carriageworks, supported by The Balnaves Foundation. In this annual season that celebrates emerging Australian talent, four choreographers will create diverse new works on our Company dancers.
