Five state-of-the-art dance studios housed in an early 20th-century cargo wharf, Sydney Dance Company’s Wharf Studios, home to the Company since 1986, have been recently refurbished.

As an anchor tenant of the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, Sydney Dance Company creates, rehearses, teaches and performs in the Wharf Studios, and welcomes tens of thousands of enthusiastic dancers of all ages through the doors every year.

All levels of the Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park are fully wheelchair accessible. There are also four accessible parking spaces along Dodds Street, each with a four hour restriction.

Get off at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne CBD and walk for a couple minutes, across the bridge toward St Kilda Road.

Located in the Theatres Building offering baguettes, bagels and wraps for those looking for a bite to eat before a show.

Sunday Market
Every Sunday, 10am – 4pm, local artisans fill Arts Centre Melbourne’s Lawn to showcase their unique, handmade goods ranging from arts and crafts to freshly made delicacies.

The Protagonist
Delicious coffee and freshly baked cakes and biscuits and savoury snacks in the open-air surrounds of Arts Centre Melbourne.

Saké

Wheelchair and mobility access
Accessible seating is available for wheelchair users and their companions, in all Arts Centre Melbourne venues. You can book accessible seating in person at Arts Centre Melbourne Box Office or via the telephone booking line 1300 182 183.

Assistive Hearing
A hearing system is available in all Arts Centre Melbourne venues, except The Pavilion. This sound amplification system utilises an FM signal, providing coverage to all seats in the venues via headphones or neck-loops available from the venue ushers. This system can also be used for guided tours and small meetings in our buildings.

Companion Cards
Companion Card holders are eligible for a complimentary companion ticket to Arts Centre Melbourne programs and performances.
