Sydney Dance Company presents a powerful triple bill from three remarkable choreographic talents, Rafael Bonachela, Jacopo Godani and Gabrielle Nankivell. Each has carved their own unique style, pushing at the possibilities of movement with acclaimed, innovative pieces. Now, for the first time, these three incredible pieces will share the one stage.
Rafael Bonachela’s emotionally charged and award-winning Frame of Mind features a dramatic contemporary-classical soundtrack by Bryce Dessner (from American hit rock band The National), recorded by internationally renowned Kronos Quartet.
Italian choreographer Jacopo Godani’s critically acclaimed Raw Models is a sinuous, sexy testament to the infinite malleability of the human body.
While Gabrielle Nankivell’s Wildebeest is a high-energy tour de force of the dancers’ physicality.
