Sydney Dance Company’s Dance Studios are located at The Wharf, Pier 4, Hickson Road, Walsh Bay [near The Rocks]. Constructed in the early 1900s, the Walsh Bay wharves are now a significant part of Sydney’s cultural heritage, and The Wharf an important heritage building.

Sydney Dance Company’s Dance Studios are available for hire. In addition to the harbour side location and rustic feel, these professional dance studios are large, versatile and offer a number of convenient benefits. The Studios are regularly hired for purposes such as auditions, magazine and brochure photo shoots, showreels, dance and theatre rehearsals and filming for TV commercials, feature films and music videos.

Studios are available for hire Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.  We do not take bookings on weekends.

  • Hire costs

    • Dance Studios
      - Regular rate: $50 per hour
      - Not for Profit/Charitable organisations: $35 per hour
      - TV Commercials/Filming: Price on application
      - Open Call Auditions: $60 per hour

      Boardroom: $250 per day

      A minimum 3 hour hire is required for all bookings.
