Ramon graduated with a Bachelor of Science Education (BSEd), majoring in Physical Education. He trained as a dancer in Manila and Sydney and has performed in Europe, USA, South East Asia, Japan and the Middle East. His professional work includes theatre, film, promotion and music videos. He is also one of Sydneys highest profile commercial choreographers and dance instructors. Ramon’s recent television appearances include “dance and movement coach” for Australia’s Next Top Model for Fox 8; the Rock Eistedfod Challenge Grand Finals TV Special for Channel 9; Australian Idol 2004 and 2005 (for the 10 finalists); Celebrity Circus; Skating on Thin Ice and as a judge on ABC TV Strictly Dancing (Series 1, 2 & 3). Ramon directed and co-choreographed Guy Sebastian at the 2004 ARIA Awards. Ramon has choreographed for Katie Underwood at the 2006 Sleaze Ball; the 2004 DIVA Awards featuring Paul Capsis and 2004 Sleaze Ball at Fox Studios. Ramon has been interviewed and featured in 10 different Lifestyle publications including Sunday Life “Five Fit amd Fantastic Australians”; New Woman; Cleo; Good Medicine; Daily Telegraph; SX; Sydney Magazine; Sydney Live Magazine; The Australian Magazine and Sunday Telegraph “Careers”. Ramon has also appeared on various lifestyle programs for television such as Sydney Weekender for Seven Network; Channel V and Optus Movie Channel E Entertainment.. His stage and theatre credits include Dancin Dynamite; The King and I; Chess the Musical; Dancin Man; Rasputin the Musical; The Peoples Choice Award; The Royal Bicentennial Concert and The Power Rangers Asian Tour. Ramon’s choreographic works include: The Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony; Channel 10 Station Identification; Optus Movie Channel; Men in Black Movie Premiere Party; 20th Century Fox Home Video Launch; Smith Chips; Toyota Camery; Sanyo Digital Camera; Madonna’s Girlie Show; Janet Jackson Velvet Rope Album Launch;, Sydney Mardi Gras; Hand in Hand; Pride amd Diva Awards. Ramon has also taught for various dance studios including Bodenwieser Dance Centre, Dynamite Dance Studios, Brent Street School of Performing Arts and is currently the Director of Dance Classes at Sydney Dance Company .
