Leanne Lipworth

Teacher

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Leanne began her dance training at the age of 4. She is ca freelance dancer/teacher/performer, as well as having a BMediaLLB and is currently working as a Solicitor.

Leanne is trained extensively in classic ballet (Cecchetti Method), jazz, funk, contemporary, Dancesport and salsa, as well as success in national choreographic competitions.

Leanne has studied in London under the Big Brother classical ballet Scholarship.
She has performed in video clips for Urban Myth, featured on Mornings with Kerrie-Anne, Government House, Bodies and Sydney Opera House productions, performed as a feature dancer at the Sydney Olympic Closing Ceremony 2000, featured as a guest teacher and performing artist for Cunard Cruise Lines travelling through Europe, the Caribbean, South and Central America, and Africa. Leanne has also written for DanceTRAIN Magazine.

Leanne was the Australasian Dancesport Champion 2002, and has won Latin titles throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, and worked with some of Australia and the world’s top dancers and coaches.

Leanne has extensive experience in producing and performing for corporate events and in teaching students of all levels and ages. She has a love and passion for dance, and in particular, for using her skills to teach and develop aspiring dancers.
