Jake Connell

Teacher

Jake trained at Brent Street Studios full-time and was awarded a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Performing Arts.  Jake is a qualified fitness and gym instructor- Certificate 3 in Fitness and Certificate in Gym Instruction and studied at the Australian Institute of Fitness. 

His achievements include:  Dancer at The Australian Dance Awards at the Sydney Opera House, choreographer for the West Tigers Cheerleaders at Telstra Stadium and dancer for the Audi Car Launch directed by Ignatius Jones, Dancers for the Toni and Guy Hair Expo.

 In 2008, Jake worked as a dancer at Huis ten Bosch, Japan (The worlds biggest waterfront resort) and was then flown to India to Dance in a one of dance show called ‘Nocturnal’ for New Years Eve.  He performed with Olivia Newton John and Cyndi Lauper at Sydney’s 2008 Mardi Gras party choreographed by Leah Howard and danced with David Campbell at his Sydney Concert.  

 In 2009, Jake moved to France, to work at Cirque du Soleil with 17 other dancers to develop a brand new show at The Royal Palace.
