Ellen is currently in the cast of the musical WICKED at the Capitol Theatre.

Ellen grew up in New Zealand and started ballet lessons when she was 5 years old. She has attained her ARAD letters for completing her advanced 2 work in classical ballet, her NZAMD solo seal diploma in modern jazz and has been lucky enough to train overseas with some of the best teachers in Hip Hop, Lyrcial and Contemporary. In 2000 Ellen was awarded the NZAMD National Jazz Dancing Title and has since received various scholarships in all styles of dance.

In 2003 Ellen was selected to travel to London’s Globe Theatre as a member of New Zealand’s Young Shakespeare Company where she attended workshops and tutorials with some of London’s best Shakespearian actors and directors.

In 2004 she travelled to LA to dance at the renowned EDGE Performing Arts Centre as a short-term scholarship student.

Musical Theatre roles include “Roxy” in the 2005 tour or “Chicago” and “Mary Jane” in the musical Big River.
