Juliette was born in Perth, where she completed the majority of her dance training. First at The Graduate College of Dance, with Terri Charlesworth and then going on to graduate from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts(W.A.A.P.A) with an Advanced Diploma in Dance in 2003, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in dance in 2004 which she obtained as a member of LINK dance company, in affiliation with Edith Cowan University. She also studied at Purchase College Dance Conservatory in New York, for 6 months through the exchange program at W.A.A.P.A. In her early professional career Juliette worked with Australian choreographers, Sue Peacock and Olivia Millard, before heading overseas in 2006

Throughout 2006 she performed with Diversions Dance Company in Wales, received a grant from ArtsWa to attend four weeks of workshops at Impuls tanz Contemporary Dance Festival in Vienna, and in September 2006 joined Russell Maliphant Company for extensive touring of the duet PUSH, initially created by Russell Maliphant for himself and Sylvie Guillem, and Transmission a work for five women. The tour included performances in France, Canada, Italy, Germany, Hungary, England, Ireland and Wales. In June 2007 she commenced work on a new creation with Russell Maliphant Company, a collaboration between Maliphant and esteemed film maker Isaac Julien to create Small Boats, which premiered at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London in October 2007, followed by performances in Korea, and at the 25th annual Next Wave Festival, at Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In 2008 she continued to tour PUSH and Small Boats, with Russell Maliphant Company, including performances at British Dance Edition in Liverpool, England, and further touring, in Switzerland and France.

Throughout 2008 Juliette worked on a new creation with London based choreographer Zoi Dimitriou Goddesses in Exile, a duet which premiered at The Robin Howard Dance Theatre, The Place, London, followed by performances at the Athens Festival and at the Bonnie Bird Theatre, Laban, London. Also in 2008, Juliette performed in The Place Prize with choreographer Kyoung Shin Kim in his new creation, Oblivion, and was also employed as a dancer for a choreographic research project directed by Wayne McGregor at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London. January 2009 marked the beginning of Juliette’s work with Rafael Bonachela for whom she has danced in the premiere season of we unfold at the Sydney Theatre; on tour in Rafael’s 360° ; and in Aszure Barton’s Sid’s Waltzing Masquerade. Juliette danced recently in the New Breed season as part of the Spring Dance Festival at the Sydney Opera House, appearing in Craig Bary’s Pictures of a One Night Stand and in Emily Amisano’s Bending the Map. Most recently she has worked with Kenneth Kvarnstrom during the creation of his commissioned work Mercury.
