Biography

Marlo performed in Force Majeure’s The Age I’m In at the Sydney Opera House during the Sydney Festival of the Arts 2008, as well as touring to Canada and Korea with the show in 2009. In 2011, Marlo was a Dancer on Baz Luhrmann’s feature film The Great Gatsby. She performed in Chunky Move’s Assembly by Gideon Obarzanek in 2012 as a part of the Sydney Festival. In 2012 Marlo performed in Force Majeure and Sydney Theatre Company’s Never Did Me Any Harm for the Melbourne Festival of the Arts.

During her first year of training at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2014, Marlo performed in Chunky Move’s dance theatre show, directed by Adam Wheeler, It Sounds Silly. She also performed in Arabella Frahn Starkie’s work Choose Your Own Adventure for the 2014 Melbourne Fringe Festival. Marlo trained with Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year in 2015. In 2016 she then worked with Martin Del Amo on his development of CHAMPIONS, which will premiere in 2017. Marlo then toured Australia with Never Did Me Any Harm in 2016. She is also set to perform with Chunky Move’s upcoming show Anti-Gravity for Asia Topa and Dance Massive in 2017.

Marlo will perform in Nude Live at the Art Gallery of NSW from 7-23 January 2017 as part of the Sydney Festival.
